Reference value for the minimum trench depth – 3D Scan & Digital Twin

October 8, 2025

CloseOut’s 3D Scan & Digital Twin just got smarter!

Our latest update introduces a game-changing feature: you can now set a reference value for the minimum trench depth.

Once entered, depth markers instantly show up in:

  • Blue – if the trench depth is adequate
  • Red – if the trench depth is insufficient

For example, when laying high-voltage cables at 120 cm, you can enter a threshold of 120 cm and instantly see where the trench isn’t deep enough.

To make inspections even clearer, the map view highlights:

  • Zones with correct depth
  • Zones with insufficient depth

And the entire trench path for full visibility And for maximum flexibility, a slider lets you adjust the spacing between depth markers, ensuring you capture the exact level of detail you need.

With CloseOut, you’re always one step ahead — ensuring precision, safety, and efficiency on every project. Because progress means delivering solutions before our clients even know they need them.
